Twitch alerts

Connect one Twitch channel to your server. Dashboard → Twitch alerts, or /twitch connect.

Connect

1. Type the Twitch name (or paste the twitch.tv link).
2. Pick the channel for alerts and, optionally, a role or @everyone to ping.
3. Optionally write your own message with {streamer}, {title}, {game}, {url} and {ping}.
4. Save, then click Send a test alert (tests never ping anyone).

How alerts behave

• Twitch is checked every minute. The alert shows the title, game, viewers and a preview.
• When the stream ends, the post changes to “was live”, with how long it lasted and the peak viewers.
• If the stream drops and comes back within 10 minutes, the bot posts “back live” without pinging again.

Other commands: /twitch status, /twitch test, /twitch disconnect.

Sub roles

Twitch subscriber roles come from Discord’s own integration: the streamer links Twitch in User Settings → Connections, then turns it on in Server Settings → Integrations → Twitch. Discord creates and manages the sub roles.
