Permissions
Who can change settings
On the website: the server owner and anyone with Manage Server or Administrator. In Discord, staff commands follow Discord’s own permissions (for example /kick needs Kick Members). You can change who sees each command in Server Settings → Integrations → Rovik.
Role order
A bot can only manage roles below its highest role. If the bot can’t give a role, drag its role higher in Server Settings → Roles.
Safety limits
- The website won’t let you set up the bot to hand out a role above your own highest role.
- Unless you’re the server owner, it won’t hand out roles with staff powers (Administrator, Manage Server, Ban Members, and so on).
- Hiding channels for verification needs you to have Manage Channels and Manage Roles yourself.
/dm-announceis limited to the owner and Administrators.
