Logs
Posts what happens in your server to channels you pick, so staff can see who did what. Dashboard → Logs. Keep log channels private to staff.
Four groups
| Group | Events |

| Messages | Deleted messages (with text and attachments), edits (before and after), bulk deletes (with a .txt file) |
| Members | Joins (with account age), leaves (with their roles), nicknames, role changes, voice |
| Moderation | Bans, unbans, kicks, timeouts — plus everything the bot’s own mod commands and AutoMod do |
| Server | Channels and roles made, deleted or changed (dangerous permission changes are flagged), server settings, invites |
Each group can post in its own channel, and each event can be turned on or off. You can leave out chosen channels and messages from bots.
“Who did it”
Give the bot View Audit Log and log posts show who banned, kicked, changed roles or deleted channels.
Discord only tells a bot what a deleted message said if the bot saw it being sent. Messages from before the bot last started show only the channel.
